Welcome to Hateefy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using https://hateefy.com (the “Website”) and purchasing our products. The Website is operated by Hateefy (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By using our Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. We currently serve customers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand.
2. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion if we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
3. Products and Artisanal Accuracy
Hateefy specializes in handcrafted wooden decor. While we strive for photographic and descriptive accuracy:
Natural Variations: Every product is made from natural hardwoods. Variations in grain, color, and texture are inherent to the material and are not considered defects.
Handmade Nature: Minor variations in dimensions may occur due to the lathe-turning and hand-finishing process.
Pricing: All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and cancel orders affected by such errors with a full refund to you.
4. Orders, Payments, and DDP Terms
Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason.
International Orders (DDP): For our international customers, we operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. Hateefy covers all import duties, VAT, and customs taxes. The price at checkout is your final price.
Currency: All transactions are processed in USD. Your bank may apply conversion fees if you are paying in a different currency.
5. Cancellation Policy
We offer a standardized 24-hour cancellation window for all orders.
You may request a full refund within 24 hours of placing your order.
Once this window has passed or a tracking number has been issued, the order is in the hands of the carrier and cannot be canceled. In such cases, you must follow our standard return process.
6. Shipping and Risk of Loss
Our Shipping Policy governs the delivery of your items.
Fulfillment: Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Delivery: Risk of loss and title for the products pass to you upon delivery by the carrier to the shipping address provided.
7. Returns and Refunds
Our Return & Refund Policy outlines the details for returns.
Window: You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return.
Condition: Items must be in original, unused condition.
Costs: For “Change of Mind” returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs to our designated facility.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website—including text, images, logos, graphics, and product designs—is the property of Hateefy and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce or use any content without our express written permission.
9. Product Safety and Care
Fire Safety: Our products are designed to hold candles. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Ensure candles are securely fitted before lighting.
Care: Wood is a natural material. Avoid exposure to high humidity, standing water, or direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent warping or fading.
Liability: Hateefy is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from the misuse of our products or failure to follow fire safety guidelines.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hateefy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or Website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
